What can Ryuu Shin offer to me as an experienced Martial Artist?
As an experienced martial artist, cross-training in other martial arts can only benefit you, surely?
Most of my current students had experience in several other martial arts before they joined Ryuu Shin. Many of them are Black Belts.
Your experience in your own main style, whether that be Karate, Tae Kwan Do, Krav Maga, Aikido or any other martial art will stand you in good stead for learning Jujutsu.
No matter what your existing grade is, everyone who joins Ryuu Shin has to go back to White Belt when they join.
But, provided that you train frequently enough and show proficiency, you would obviously have the opportunity to grade quicker than beginners.
My current students have studied Karate, Kung Fu, Aikido, Judo, BJJ, Tae Kwan Do, Kenjutsu and Iaido, Kempo, Taijutsu, Krav Maga & "Freestyle".
Most of them continue to train in those other styles alongside their Ryuu Shin classes.
